Review: Logitech QuickCam Pro 5000 WebCam

The Logitech QuickCam Pro 5000 is a webcam or camera that not only allows you to chat with family and friends but also allows you see them as you talk. With a reasonable price tag and the ability to capture, edit and print shots you can’t beat it.

There are a lot of webcam competitors on the market but the Logitech QuickCam Pro 5000 outshines them all. You can opt for a cheaper webcam but I wouldn’t advise it. The old saying that you get what you pay for is true in this case.

Easy Installation of the Logitech QuickCam Pro

I was amazed at how easy it was to install. I just read the information that came with the software, downloaded it and there it was all set and ready to go. I was shocked that within just a matter of a few minutes it was up and running and I wasn’t pulling my hair out.

Picture and Sound Quality

The QuickCam Pro produces great picture and sound quality. It works well with the lighting in my home or office. No back glare and the pictures are sharp and easy to see. The sound is clear and with the headphones I can just sit back and enjoy my conversations with ease.

The flexible base makes the QuickCam Pro easy to hook onto any type of monitor. I have a flat screen monitor and was afraid it wouldn’t stay on. I have no problems with it staying attached and I can move it to any position I want with ease.

This webcam is one of the best I’ve found. The fact that it’s a Logitech brand makes it even better. I have had Logitech items before and I’ve always been pleased with their products. This is no exception.

The Logitech QuickCam Pro 5000 and Pictures

I can also take still shots with the QuickCam and turn them into pictures to save and share. I like that idea, but some of the family and friends I chat with don’t because now I can take pictures of them when they won’t send me any.

Of course, if the tables were turned they’d probably do the same to me too. Many of them may just go purchase a QuickCam Pro so they can do just that. I like the Logitech QuickCam Pro 5000 and will recommend it to all my family and friends.
